The 5th meeting of the 3rd session of the National Technical Committee for Fuse Standardization Small Fuse Sub-Technical Committee was successfully held in the Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone
On November 10, 2023, the 5th meeting of the 3rd session of the Small Fuse Sub-Technical Committee of the National Fuse Standardization Technical Committee was successfully held in the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone. This meeting is the first national industry standardization meeting held in the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone.
This meeting was hosted by the Small Fuse Sub-Technical Committee of the National Fuse Standardization Technical Committee and undertaken by Shenzhen Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone Weikete Fuse Co., Ltd., and was strongly supported by the Shenzhen Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone Science and Technology Innovation and Economic Service Bureau and Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration Shenshan Supervision Bureau. Cai Jun, Chairman of the National Small Fuse Sub-Committee, Cao Xiaoyang, Chief of the Quality Standards and Metrology Section of Shenzhen Shenshan Supervision Bureau, Hao Ming, General Manager of Shenzhen Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone Weikete Fuse Co., Ltd., Qin Haojun, General Manager of Shanghai Songshan Electronics Co., Ltd., and Lin Wenyuan, Executive Vice President of Holiland (Xiamen) Circuit Protection Technology Co., Ltd., and other fuse industry technical experts attended the meeting and made in-depth technical exchanges.
At the meeting, Cao Xiaoyang, Chief of the Quality Standards and Metrology Section of the Shenzhen Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, Shenshan Supervision Bureau, delivered an important speech, emphasizing the importance of national standard construction. As an important department responsible for supervising market order, protecting consumer rights and promoting the healthy development of enterprises, the Market Supervision Bureau pays close attention to and participates in the construction of national standards. The Market Supervision Bureau actively participates in, formulates, revises and interprets national standards, and strictly supervises and manages products and services on the market in accordance with standard requirements to ensure fair competition in the market, protect the safety, rights and interests of consumers, and improve the quality and efficiency of the market. Chief Cao also proposed the concept of first-class enterprises making standards, second-class enterprises making brands, and third-class enterprises making products, which won unanimous praise and praise from the participants.
Cai Jun, Chairman of the National Small Fuse Subcommittee, reported on the work of the Small Fuse Subcommittee in 2023. In order to meet the standard requirements and market demand of the small fuse industry, the Standardization Committee actively carried out relevant standard formulation work in 2023, completed the approval of two national standards, and the GB/T 9816.1-2023 "Thermal Fuse Part 1: Requirements and Application Guidelines" completed by the Standardization Committee was successfully released. At the same time, the situation of my country's participation in the international standardization work in the field of small fuses in 2023 was introduced, which made outstanding contributions to the IEC international standardization work and demonstrated China's standardization strength.
Sun Ting, secretary of the Standardization Committee, reported on the work dynamics of the International Electrotechnical Commission's Small Fuse Subcommittee (IEC/SC32C) in 2023, and summarized the six standard projects carried out by SC32C in 2023 and the convening of the plenary meeting.
Hao Ming and other three experts from Weicote Fuse exchanged views on the latest technologies and development trends of small fuses. They believed that the latest technologies and development trends of small fuses mainly focus on digitalization, intelligence, miniaturization, integration, high performance, low temperature rise, and low power consumption material applications, including the application of new arc-extinguishing glue materials. These technologies will further enhance the functions and reliability of small fuses and meet the ever-evolving and changing application needs. These advanced technical creativity and practical explorations are very inspiring for promoting the construction of national standards for small fuses.
This standardization meeting of the electrical industry has a milestone significance for the Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation Zone in the fields of standardization construction and scientific and technological innovation.
